Rehman Abdulrehman, PhD, CPsych

As a clinical and consulting psychologist for over 17 years, Rehman applies his understanding of the whole person in his work with coaching leaders. He believes better insight into oneself provides a clearer and unobstructed path to success, as well as better engagement with others. His style of coaching is practical, direct, evidence based, sincere, and friendly.

Rehman’s consult has been sought after by a broad portfolio of organizations, including the Canadian government, the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, the Mastercard Foundation, the US Department of Veteran Affairs, and Google YouTube. Rehman is also a subject matter expert on matters of anti-racism, cultural competence, and unconscious bias. He is the author of the new book, Developing Anti-Racist Cultural Competence, and developed the widely used Bias Outside the Box tool (testbias.com) that helps leaders identify and understand their biases in the comfort of their personal spaces. His work has been recognized by the Society of Consulting Psychology for Excellence in Diversity & Inclusion (D&I) Consulting, and he was the guest co-editor for a special edition of the Consulting Psychology Journal on Arab and South Asian leaders. Rehman received his Master’s and Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology at the University of Manitoba, where he is also currently an assistant professor
