More about our founder

I’ve always been deeply interested in two things: solving problems and understanding people. So when I discovered that psychology could be practiced inside the complex, high-stakes, dynamic systems we call businesses, I was hooked. I established my career inside psychologist-led consulting firms where I absorbed everything I could about leadership, organizational dynamics, and how companies actually function. Through these experiences, I came to believe that good business is an art, and the biggest opportunities live in the space where psychology and execution collide.

Along the way, I learned that the very qualities that made me valuable to clients were the ones that could make life in a larger firm untenable. Speaking truth to power made me highly effective at my job, but it didn’t always make me easy to manage or allow me to “fit” comfortably inside traditional firms. I also expect a lot—from myself, from my work, and from the systems I operate in—and those standards don’t always align with environments built for volume over depth. Starting my own practice allowed me to harness my innate rigor, candor, and psychological insight without compromise, so leaders could get the level of insight and impact they need.

I founded Senscia Leadership because I believe leadership isn’t about titles, power, or charisma—it’s about understanding yourself, others, and the interaction between the two. I work with leaders who are serious about doing the real work: learning who they are, how they show up, and how they influence others. My role isn’t to sugarcoat or simply advise; it’s to be a thought partner, an accountability partner, and occasionally a reality check when the tough truths need to be said. I help leaders anticipate how individuals and teams will respond, spot risks before they become problems, and make practical decisions that drive results.

As Senscia grew, I couldn’t stand to turn away clients who needed the same level of quality, commitment, and expert thought partnership I strive to bring to every engagement. So I built a team of coaches and consultants who share the same ethos, and who continue to teach me and one another about this craft. Together, we work interdependently to deliver high-touch, human-centered work at a level of quality that doesn’t get watered down, even as we grow. Our commitment is simple: real insight, real courage, real impact.
